ARTISTIC EXHIBITS
INTRODUCTION

One of the definitive key elements of THE TRANSFORMERS is the visual aspect. It is the be all and end all if you look at the universe in its entirety. While sounds and voices are important, too, they only really make a difference where the cartoon is concerned. In other words, only sight is truly all-encompassing.

The TRANSFORMERS concept has been given life and form in many ways. Traditional animation, anime, manga art, CG (computer-generated) art, comic book panels, story books, lithographs, and various forms of fan art, even right down to self-made three-dimensional models of the characters and dioramas.

Whether the preferred aspect of the universe is toys, cartoons, or comics, they all inspire people to draw TRANSFORMERS or create something otherwise visually impressive. Whether or not my own efforts are impressive I cannot say, but I have had fun with my art, which is the most important part of it all.

This page shows most of the art I have done as a fan of THE TRANSFORMERS over the years, from my first drawings as a 12-year-old-ish kid in early 1986 to the computer-based art of the 1990s and 2000s, most prominently my icons. I have also some special TV series screen shots to provide balance.

Whether my work gets you laughing or somehow impresses you, I hope you have fun with it.
